On the Saturday of June 09, 2012 the government of Stella Maris Mtwara University Student's Organization prepared a special party whereby the former leaders of STEMMUSO specifically the Interim governmental leaders, the 2010/2011 governmental leaders, and the 2011/2012 governmental leaders were farewelled .
In the party, the guest of honour was Rev.Dr.Longino Kamuhabwa and the staff members of the college were among the invited guests who attended the party at the MTR 08 in the college.
